Gymnathlon Privacy Policy

Graham Street 18/5, Sliema, SLM 1712, Malta represented by: Jan Cap, director, hereinafter referred as ‘Provider’ knows that you care how information about your child is used and shared and the Provider appreciates your trust to do that carefully and sensibly. By registering your child to the Training Course or by visiting Gymnathlon website, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) and in our General Terms and Conditions.

This Policy describes the types of personal information that we may collect about your child, the purpose for which we use the information, the circumstances in which we may share the information and the steps that we take to safeguard the information to protect your child’s Privacy.

1. Information that we collect
When visiting the www.gymnathlon.com.mt website (“Our Site”) or contacting the Provider by telephone, fax, email or SMS and during the registration of the child for the Training Course, the Provider collects the following information of the child:
name, surname, sex, age and address in the form as provided by the legal representative.
The Provider collects also the name, surname and address of the legal representative, the e-mail address and phone number of the legal representative of the child in the form as provided by the legal representative during the registration of the child.

2. How the Provider uses the information
The name, surname and age of the child are used for the registration of the child for the Training Course.

The name and surname of the legal representative, the e-mail address of the legal representative and his/her phone number are used only for the communication between the Provider and the legal representative required for the provision of the service by the Provider. For the tax and legal purposes the Provider keeps only the personal data of the legal representative (name, surname, e-mail address and phone number) for the period of 5 years from the moment of the end of the Training Course.

3. Sensitive information
Whilst the Provider does not generally collect sensitive information, the legal representative is obliged to inform the Provider if there are any medical/health problems of the child, which the Provider needs to take into account during the Training Course. By providing the sensitive information to the Provider, you are consenting to Provider using it in the manner set out in this Policy.

4. Surveys and feedback
The Provider may also ask you to complete surveys that the Provider uses for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

5. Security of your information
The Provider uses industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures to protect your information. The personal information the Provider is provided with will be stored on secure servers. You should understand data via online transmission is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee full protection and security data, only that we take all reasonable action to protect information sent to us electronically.

6. Data correction/deletion
You can anytime request from the Provider access to the personal data, correction or deletion of personal data, you have the right to limit the processing of the personal data or the right to complain against the processing of the personal by the Provider.

7. Data controller
Any personal information provided to or gathered by the Provider is controlled by Jan Cap, L. Graham Street 18/5, Sliema, SLM 1712, Malta

8. Photographs and videos
Photographs and videos of the children taken during the Training Course and which are taken and kept without any further identification of the children can be used at the Gymnathlon website and Facebook page subject to the prior consent of the legal representative of the child. These photographs and videos can be kept by the Provider for the period of duration of the company.

9.Third Party Links
Third party links may be discovered on the Gymnathlon website. These third party links have their own privacy policy, which you agree to when you click on the link. The Provider is not responsible nor does accept responsibility for third party links.
